The YOUNG PEOPLE and CHILDREN'S DIVISION (Y.P.D.) is a youth organization, established October 1915, under the auspices of the Women’s Missionary Society of the African Methodist Episcopal Church. The purpose of the YPD is to interest Christian Youth in discovering opportunities for witnessing in today's world, and put their Christian convictions into action in all of their daily relationships.
YPD Pledge: I pledge my willing and untiring service to all efforts of the Young People's and Children's Division to aid the needy and suffering people, regardless of race, color or creed. I further pledge to take the Bible as my guide, to aid my church, and to attend meetings regularly. In all these tasks I seek the Savior's guidance.
YPD Colors: Forest Green is symbolic of growth and Christian Vitality; white represents purity, light and faith. 
YPD Motto: "Grow, Glow and Go for Christ"

Women's Missionary Society

The Fannie Jackson Coppin Women’s Missionary Society (FJCWMS)
Called to strengthen faith, FJCWMS continues the ministry of Jesus Christ by service and witness in the world. The FJCWMS is designed to lead men, women, boys and girls to Christ and continues to practice the following doctrines and precepts of Christ:
• serve others
• minister to the needs of the sick, poor, the hungry, the homeless
• support the sick and the shut-in
The missionary’s service has been both global and local. As an organization, it serves and meet the needs of peoples on the four continents, which the A.M.E. Church has been established.
The FJCWMS supports area, district, and connectional projects as well as initiates local programs and ministries. Some activities include clothing donations, the providing school supplies and household goods. In addition to engaging in similar activities at the local level, FJCWMS missionaries have disseminated food, tutored youth, ministered to the elderly, expressed concern and cheer for our sick and shut-in, given monetary support for our high school seniors, conducted monthly devotional services at Whitehall Health Center and supported our YPD. We collaborate and cooperate with other like-minded organizations and ministries, such as Church Women United and Bethel’s women’s ministry.

Trustees

The Board of Trustees acts as an overseer of all real, personal, and mixed property interests and rights of the church and manages the temporal concerns of Bethel A.M.E. Serving one conference year, the trustees are elected annually by the members of the church.

Trustee Helpers

Trustee Helpers – This organization came into being some years ago under the pastorate of the Reverend L. S. Parks. Its purpose is to help the trustees financially. This group meets once a month. Among its many outstanding activities, members carry cheer to the sick and shut-ins each year at Christmas time. This is a noteworthy organization in Bethel Church.
