ANGEL WINGS (YOUTH 3-9 YEARS) - Assistant director needed. The Wings of Bethel is looking for someone who might be interested in working to develop the Angel Wings of Bethel's dance ministry. This person has to be willing to commit to regular meeting times with children, help with recruitment and organization, and choreography. Choreography would need to be age-appropriate. More importantly, this person just has to love little children, love the Lord, and be willing to work. We'll all chip in to help. Contact Robin Wilson is interested.

HEALTHY KNOWLEDGE FOR YOUR BODY - Healthy Knowledge for Your Body
HEALTH & WELLNESS - Remember your Fruits and Vegetables!
Fruit of the Month: Nectarine
Vegetable of the Month: Garlic
Did you know the more physical activity you do the more you can eat?
Well, not exactly! Physical activity of any type, mowing the grass, cleaning the house, walking and playing sports are ll things that cause us to burn calories. The key is to replace energy lost through physical activity with healthy, low calorie foods such as fruits and vegetables. Consuming the right amount of fruits and vegetables each day is a great way to maintain a healthy lifestyle and decrease your risk for several chronic diseases. The recommended amount of fruits and vegetables a person eats each day differs based on their age and gender. For example, a 50 year old female who is physically active less than 30 minutes a day needs 1 1/2 cups of fruit and 2 1/2 cups of vegetables a day. What represents a cup of fruit and vegetables you may ask? A cup of fruit is equal to 1 apple, 1 large banana, or 32 grapes. A cup of vegetables is equivalent to 12 baby carrots, 1 large sweet potato, or 1 cup of cooked spinach, turnip or collard greens. Visit http://www.fruitsandveggiesmatter.gov/ to find out how many fruits and vegetables you should eat each day.
MAINTAINING A HEALTHY SMILE
It only takes a few minutes each day to achieve a healthy smile. Follow this simple routine. Brush thoroughly with an American Dental Association (ADA) accepted fluoride toothpaste twice a day -- more often if your dentist advises. Eat a well-balanced diet -- watch those sweets. Clean between your teeth once a day with floss or another type of internal cleaner. Schedule regular dental checkups.
